The color lithograph print is printed in Japan in 1964. It features an artwork image originally created by Picasso in 1925 titled " Femme a la Mandoline " ( Woman with Mandolin ).

Pablo Picasso ( 1881 - 1973 ) was a Spanish born painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, poet and playwright who spent most of his life in France. he is regarded as one of the most important and influential artists of The Twentieth Century. Exceptionally prolific throughout the course of his long life, Picasso achieved universal renown an immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, and became one of the most well known figures in 20th Century Art.

The rare out of print lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The print plate image is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand to the page on 3 corners. There is text on the reverse back page that refers to a different artwork image.

The lithograph print plate image measures 7 1/4" W X 9 7/8" H, on a page that is 9 1/4" W X 12" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
