The fabric has the appearance of a fine burlap, and the legs are cast metal. Plenty of character with this eye-catching piece. This stool is in very good antique condition. We noted no rips or tears to the fabric and the stool is sturdy. There is a slight smug or spot on the fabric near one of the burgundy vines; see photograph.
