Incredible Italian wicker rattan wall mirror by the designer Franco Albini, by Rosenthal-Netter, circa mid-20th century, Italy. These were popular in France and Italy in the 1950s-1970s, and sometimes referred to as Riviera style. The mirror is oval with a stunning and intricate wicker rattan latticework frame.
This was pulled from the same estate of a woman who loved and collected Italian burnt bamboo and rattan pieces.
Condition notes: No breaks in the rattan, but two spots that have some stress or beginnings of separation, shown in the pictures. Overall this mirror is in excellent otherwise condition, and the mirror glass is clean and without spots. The original red velvet backing is in tact, as is the Rosenthal Netter "Made in Italy" sticker.
