Classic village material with very good age and the obvious signs of real-life uses, the Y-shaped repairs on the lid and over one area of the side. The neck of the jar is reinforced with a thin wooden extended neck and the lid is seen to a collar sized to fit inside the body collar. This is a very secure closure. The gourd is shown on a raffia ring to allow the body to sit in a secure upright direction when set on a table or on the ground. The size is 16" tall by 12.5" in diameter. See less
