It … Read more This artwork titled "Livermore Valley Ranch" c.1960, is a watercolor on paper by American artist Dale Allen Miller, 1917-2005. It is signed at the lower right corner by the artist. The artwork (image) size is 10.25 x 13,75 inches, framed size is 15 x 19 inches. Framed in a wooden antique gold color frame, with off-white matting. It is in excellent condition, the frame has a very small minor restoration, practically invisible.

About the artist:
Dale Allen Miller was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 3, 1917. He came to California as an infant. He first studied art while at Castlemont High School (Oakland) under Wm S. Rice and then continued at California College of Arts and Crafts.
During the Depression he worked with the WPA and later in photo mechanics.
He died in Oakland on Dec. 5, 2005.
He was a member of the Oakland Art Association. See less
