We are selling this great decorative red and black lacquered pedestal with some bronze mounts. The base probably comes from Japan or Korea and would have originally been the base for a large Buddha or other type of statue. The piece probably dates to the 19th or early 20th century, or earlier.
Condition: Some age related wear including cracking to the wood and lacquer.
