Clean-lined silhouettes with sleek sculptured columns, marble tops and aged-brass accents. These chests were customized exclusively for THE TASTEMAKER SHOPPE. A soft white matte-paint and lime-wax finish was applied to the drawer fronts. Lime-wax adds tonal depth and a subtle movement that's soft and elegant, similar to the subtle movement of the wood grain. Marble tops are polished Nero Marquina, from a region in Spain (tops are not attached, they rest on top) The upper drawer has a hidden finger pull underneath. The lower recessed drawer has a brass pull with Baker’s signature label inside. Tall and narrow, great for tight spaces. Classic European style and sensibility, made in America. As a Curator and Interior Designer, these are the timeless qualities I seek – knowing it will transcend time, always in style, never trendy. A treasured find for collectors and interior design enthusiasts of unique and one-of-a-kind pieces.
