Lovely neoclassical urn-form lamp that has been hand-carved from Italian alabaster with grey veining that gives off a soft glow when lit. Newly wired for modern use and paired with a new pleated cream shade (still in plastic to keep clean). ***Please note that the shade will need to be mailed in a separate box. If you are interested in the lamp alone, minus the shade, please let me know prior to purchase and I can contact Chairish Support for you and get a quote on shipment of the lamp only.***

The lamp is heavy and in really good condition for its age. There is minor age-related wear with light yellowing at joints. Minor surface inclusions consistent with age. There is patina to the original metal pieces. The shade is brand new (I will be mailing it in the plastic wrap to keep it clean). A professional electrician rewired the lamp. The on/off switch is on the socket. I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to shipping or to send more photos if needed.
