Artist and designer, William Stephen Coleman, was paid £200 by Minton for the designs on the 'Naturalist' service, which this jardiniere features. Colouration: white, turquoise, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1445'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1871. See less
