Hand crafted pencil reed woven basket in the style of Gabriella Crespi. Originally used in Europe for proofing bread -- allowing it to rise. This unusual example of a proofing basket has the bakery name in the bottom "Groppert". Use for serving a baguette or for a beautiful table display.
