A true bespoke beauty. This adjustable log chaise is a unique piece composed of natural wood logs. We love the wooden wheels, that actually function. The back is adjustable through several reclining positions. A true organic form, it would mesh well with any minimalistic, wabi sabi or artist inspired space.
Purchased from and art and oddities collector in Los Angeles. She said she purchased it from a movie prop auction, and this was from the Flinstones Movie. She didn't have the provenance but it feels very appropriate.
The chaise is fully functional and sturdy, it could be used but is not very comfortable as is, for obvious reason. A decorative pad or similar might help with that. Either way its a sculptural piece that could serve as art.
