This is an original oil painting landscape by me, L Haas, rendered on 9″ W × 12″ H × 0.25″ D oil on masonite panel and signed, presented unframed so you can choose framing that best suits your space. I painted this scene after spending time in Monterey, CA — drawn to the rhythm of farmland and the people who work it. Seeing migrant workers tending the fields became a quiet but powerful memory, and in this piece I wanted to honor both the landscape and the humanity within it, letting gesture and color carry both mood and presence.

There’s a natural energy in the composition — a balance between open space and the subtle activity occurring in the field — and I aimed to let brushwork express that sense of movement and light without being literal. It’s a piece that rewards close looking and quiet reflection.
