We were very pleased to find this display stand - they are not often seen for sale, especially of this size.
High gloss black lacquer carefully inlaid with glistening mother of pearl shell. Traditional Buddhist lotus flowers, greek key pattern and scrolls. Stylised bird shaped legs.
The stand can easily accommodate a vase of 7.25" in diameter, not more.
A fine and unusual piece that would have taken an artist a long time to make.
