The vases feature a matte … Read more Here are two antique hand painted mantle vases from Nippon (Japan) Morimura Brothers (early Noritake). The vases feature a matte floral design against matte ombre glaze background in muted tones. The top and bottom of each vase have a gold moriage border and the gilded double handles feature a faux-carved ring design. The inside of each vase is a white gloss finish. These vases were not purchased together, but are extremely well matched.

Measurements (each vase): Height 7”, Width 5 ¾”, Depth 3”

Condition: Each antique vase has a small repair to the top rim, as well as some loss of gilding as is normal for age and use. The repairs are well done, and I have priced accordingly, but please check photos carefully. Otherwise, no other chips, cracks or damage. These vases have been wiped with a soft cloth, but have not been professionally cleaned. Each piece is well marked on the bottom – one with the green wreath mark, and one with the blue wreath mark (both in use from about 1911-1921). See less
