signed lower left 1920's Mannheim born in Germany, studied in France. Immigrated to Ill. taught school, moved to Pasadena, founded Stickney School of Fine Arts, in California his pallet lighted & adopted the impressionist style. Museums: Orange County, Long Beach, Irvine & Denver (1485)
