The peaceful bucolic scene also includes a lane leading to the cottage's gate, trees, shrubs, and birds in the sky. Dominated by browns and greens with other color pops of orange, pink, yellow, blue, and red, the colors are enticing and vivid.

The frame is of dark wood, which is a good match for the needlepoint. The frame measures 15.5 inches wide, 11 inches high, and 7/8 inch deep. The frame has a design on the outer and inner edges as shown in the closeup photo. Professionally framed by Full Circle in Seattle Washington, this needlepoint picture has a wire for hanging on the back, as well as the signature of the maker, along with the date: "Bill Frisbie 1996." There are two small circular bumpers on the bottom of the back as shown in the photos.
