Signed Alfred Loy in upper right corner and dated 1957.

In 1903, Adolf Loy Gemälde was born in Biberach an der Riß, a town in southern Germany named after a small river which flows through the town. He died at the age of 65 in Blaustein. His paintings are found in collections throughout Europe.
