Floral bouquet floor lamp.
Description
Metal free standing mid century modern floor lamp. There are some condition issues in the form of corroded metal and discolouration etc. Some of the stem bases are visibly cracked and severely corroded. The fact that we see actual rust on the metal components is an indication this may not be an original. Brass will tarnish, or get a patina over time but because there is no iron in brass so it does not rust. Rust is a clear indication of base metals.

Notes
This is often referred to as a "money tree" sculpture because of the coin shaped petals. It was also thought of as representing a hydrangea bouquet. It is difficult from images to determine with certainty if this is an Curtis Jere design. The signatures are usually small and are placed on the side or bases of the works; if there is no signature on this it would be referred to as a "in the style of". However, because mid-century modern design items are popular today even similar pieces or copies are still popular with mid-century modern collectors. Values would not be quite as high as a signed piece.
