Crafted in China during the 19th century, this small red rose console features a thin rectangular top with recessed panel and everted flanges, resting above a perfectly organized façade, presenting a pair of double doors fitted with bronze hardware. These doors open to reveal inner shelves, the lower one being protected by a removable panel in the front. Flanked with carved panels, this façade shows a lovely contrast of colors between the red rose tones of the lacquered wood and the golden hue of the bronze hardware. With its elegant lines and lovely patina, this Ming style butterfly console will be an excellent decorative addition to any living room or foyer. See less
