Rare red mid-century modern bedside lamp or table lamp with an adjustable plastic shade. Manufactured by wkr leuchten (werkstatt für kunsthandwerkliche raumleuchten (=wkr), founded in berlin in the 1920s).
1950s, germany. The lamp's tripod frame is made of conical brass tubes with spheres at the top. It features an e14 edison screw socket. It has been rewired and operates on 110/230 volts. The shade can be adjusted very variably using the joint. The tripod base provides a very stable stand. Perfect condition!
the electrical system has been replaced with a high-quality braided black fabric cable with protective grounding. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
