This abstract composition is by New York/San Francisco Bay Area artist, Gary Shaffer (1936-2001). It is in very good condition.

Shaffer trained with Hans Hofmann in the late 1950s and became an influential member of the Printmakers' Workshop in Manhattan. Shaffer moved to San Francisco in the late 1970s. His works are in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Detroit Institute of Arts, among many others. See less
