This artwork "Titled "House in Sainte Cecile, Belgium" 1952, is an oil painting on canvas by Belgian artist Paul van Hoye, 1887-1952. It is signed at the lower right corner by the artist. The canvas size is 15.65 x 19.75 inches, framed size is 21.15 x 25.15 inches. Framed in an ornate gold frame. It is in excellent condition.

The artist is mentioned in the reference work “The Belgian visual artists from the 19th to the 21st century” by Paul Piron.
Paul Van Hoye (born in 1887 in Namur and died in Namur in 1962).
Painter and decorator.
Following lessons in Namur under the guidance of D. Merny and N. Van Den Eeden. Received his further education at the Academy of Brussels (1906-1907).
Realized, among other things, (Ardennes) landscapes, forest views, landscapes around the Meuse and still lifes.
Exhibited with the Kring Le Progrès in Namur in 1929 and 1932 and at the Portenart gallery in Brussels in 1959 and 1960.
Co-designed the “Panorama of Rio de Janeiro” for the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1910.
