It is signed and dated at the lower right corner by the artist. The artwork (image) size is 14.5 x 14.5 inches, framed size is 21 x 21 inches. Custom framed in a wooden black frame, with off white matting. It is in excellent condition.

About the artist:

Jean-Marc Brugeilles was born in Bourges and lived in Lyon before settling in Marin County. Self-taught, he began painting at the age of 17. Today, it is still with the same enthusiasm that he creates chalks, pastels, watercolors and engravings with the paints he prepares himself.

He is inspired by reality and paints man, nature, animals, water, the sky and the stars and places on the canvas his childhood memories, his joys of living, a dream universe or scenes fantastic.

As a child, he couldn't wait to go to sleep to dream. Today he wants to perpetuate the feelings that make him dream and needs his painting to make him happy. In his paintings he tells about his family, his children, his parents, his loved ones. Everyone has their place there.
