A superb antique German copper Turk’s Head / Kugelhopf mold, stamped “G.M.T. & BRO / GERMANY.”
This finely crafted piece features a heavy-gauge copper body, tin-lined interior, and a fat rolled lip for strength and durability. The crisp geometric design with star-vented center tube and brass hanging loop reflects exceptional German craftsmanship.
Maker: G.M.T. & Bro., Germany
Period: c. 1890–1920s (post-McKinley Tariff export era)
Dimensions: 10" diameter × 4" tall
Construction: Substantial copper, hand-tinned interior, rolled rim
Condition: Very good antique condition. Light surface dents consistent with age and use. No cracks or holes; rim remains straight and sturdy. Tin lining shows normal wear. Verdigris present in recessed areas, adding character. Displays beautifully.
