Chinese export 19th century sewing box with hinged lid. Showing gilt figural and floral design, fairly worn, see condition below. Lid opens to small, but spacious compartment. Lower drawer opens to second storage area. Both lock, comes with key, but only works on bottom drawer.
Measures approx: 15" x 10" x 6 1/2".
In decent condition. The lacquer finish seems to be peeling and cracking around the box. Seems to be missing some lids for inside the box. Includes the key which opens the bottom drawer, but not the top. Bottom drawer boxes left hinge looks to be peeling off. Otherwise, looks nice.
