“grip” a sculptural, powerful , iconic object made out of solid bamboo using modern materials and techniques.
the idea was to create an a-typical construction and make that the center of attention.

a natural oil-finish enhances the caramel color and structure.
bamboo:
a strong, highly sustainable ,flexible, beautiful and renewable material. Bamboo grows without the help of fertilizers. The bamboo tree is mature enough to be cut after three years. The trees are processed into the most environmentally sustainable wood on earth.
