A rare c19th decorated tole dummy board constructed as stick stand, depicting a terrier with red ribbon collar, seated upon a red velvet cushion stool with small cabriole legs and parquetry floor below. A visually charming article of what was obviously a much loved pet. Retaining all of its bright original paint, and in well preserved condition. Circa 1860.
