Audrey … Read more A rare and absolutely adorable poster for the first Polish release of classic American romantic comedy 'Sabrina' in 1967. Audrey Hepburn sparkles as Sabrina, the chauffeur's daughter turned sophisticated Parisian, in Billy Wilder's modern Cinderella story set in Long Island. William Holden and Humphrey Bogart co-starred as the millionaire brothers who compete for her affections. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Director and Best Actress for Hepburn. Although the legendary Edith Head took home the Oscar for Best Costume Design, it's believed that Hubert de Givenchy actually designed Hepburn's wardrobe for the film, kicking off a lifelong association between Hepburn and Givenchy. with undoubtedly one of the best poster designs for this popular title, artist Maciej Zbikowski playfully pictured the Cordon Bleu trained Sabrina in full chef's garb, spearing the symbolic hearts of her two beaus.

Condition
Professional colour touching to a surface scratch at Audrey's forehead and to a small 1in. tear at upper edge. Tiny restorations to the tips of three corners. A few tiny surface scratches or scuffs to yellow ground. Image and colours otherwise excellent. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
