On the left, the ox, a traditional symbol of the Nativity, can be seen. The painting displays a popular Spanish school style, with warm tones of red, blue, and ochre, and great delicacy in the faces of the Virgin and Saint Joseph. The canvas retains crackles and an old patina, with restoration touches.
