Varnished Oregon pine side table, designed by Pierre Guariche for the Hotel Le France in La Plagne, circa 1965.
This side table features clean lines, characteristic of Guariche's modernist style. It features a white melamine sliding door concealing a compartmentalized interior: an open storage space or shelf designed for functional organization.
The combination of varnished wood and white melamine underlines the understated elegance and practicality characteristic of the furnishings designed by Guariche for collective mountain interiors.
