Very rare small chest bench, very beautiful and richly carved

Circa 1880 in the Renaissance Baroque style.
Very rare, elaborately crafted chest bench.

Extraordinary carvings in the Baroque Renaissance style.

The armrests feature ram's heads.

Contemporary original, with original patina, as found in a noble estate.

In pleasingly good condition for its age (museum-quality).

Good condition, normal light wear consistent with age, minor wood damage. The lid has been restored over the years and is slightly warped.
