The winged maiden was designed by charles robinson sykes (1875-1950), it is marked 'trade mark reg.' beneath one wing and 'reg. Us pat. Office' beneath the other, it has the vestiges of the cast signature to the domed base., as used on the 20/25 models. It features a large ovoid alabaster base with a label stating the base is in english alabaster by nigel owen, craftsman in stone, rugby, warwicks.
