Characterised by its generous, organic form enclosed within a gleaming chrome-plated steel frame, it perfectly captures the sculptural and tactile spirit of the Space Age movement. Alongside the Soriana by Afra and Tobia Scarpa—its conceptual sibling in Cassina’s catalogue—the Sesann reflects a shared exploration of amorphous comfort contained by architectural precision.

This matching pair, produced in 1972, has been meticulously restored. The internal padding and Dacron fibrefill were renewed, and both armchairs have been reupholstered in high-quality black Italian aniline leather. The chrome frames have been professionally polished to regain their original lustre.
