Image size: 50 × 36 cm Signature: Unsigned Period: 1960s In excellent condition A colorful gouache painting by Osmund Hansen, featuring an abstract composition in yellow, black, and pink tones combined with geometric patterns. Osmund Hansen (1908–1995) was a Danish painter and graphic artist, trained at Folmer Bonnén’s painting school. He debuted at the Artists’ Autumn Exhibition in 1935 and developed from naturalistic landscapes to abstract and constructive compositions in clear colors. Hansen exhibited widely in Denmark and abroad and, with his wife, founded the Osmund Hansen Foundation to support young artists. See less
