This unique set would look … Read more A Polynesian Monkey Pod Carved Lacquered Decanter & Goblet Set, Hawaii, c. Mid 20th Century. This unique set would look exceptional while staged in a Coastal or Boho inspired interior. Each piece including the six goblets are crafted of solid Monkey Pod wood. This hardwood is often used in Polynesian relics and collectables alike. The large decanter (or urn) shows a hand painted Macaw motif throughout, each goblet shows a matching motif. The set is finished in a high gloss lacquer which brings out the colors nicely. The underside of each piece us unmarked or signed. See less
