It has a lift up lid originally to hold candles.

Condition Notes:
Well, if Candle Boxes could talk! This
one has been around a while and it shows.
There are quite a few
age and wear areas, the base has some chipping
of wood and generally show years of age in the front and back.
The hinges show original nails on one side, with one missing.
The other side has been updated with screws somewhere along the way.
Price is taking condition into consideration.
