Just over 4.5lbs in weight for both the lid and pot. Pot is approx 3.75lbs. Copper thickness is approx 3mm. Diameter is 6.5". There is some light wear to the piece, but overall in excellent condition and polished up for your enjoyment (though I'm sure someone with better skills than I can really get it to shine to perfection). This piece is unmarked aside from "made in france" however it is part of a larger set that I have split to sell and is part of the Guillaumet Villedieu collection (as marked on the largest of the set which is also listed for sale at the time of posting). Please note that the lid does not fit flush to the pot when cold. I believe this is intentional, to account for the changes to the metal when heating. When boiling water in the pot with the lid it becomes almost flush.
I do not know exactly when this was made, however based on my research the stamp indicates this was made for André Guillaumet, who had a bar at 20 Rue Carnot in Villedieu. The business was registered in 1979 and closed in 1994. (This location currently is a store called La cuivrerie sourdine.) Very rare, and amazing quality, this one does not come up for sale often.
