Circa 1920 French Neoclassical Alabaster and Bronze Chandelier

This chandelier has been rewired to meet US electrical standards using U/L components. It takes 5 lights: 2 candelabra/E12 base (12mm diameter screw base) and 3 base/E26 (26mm diameter base) lights. Three feet of wire at the top can be adjusted to the preferred length. This fixture requires a canopy and chain, which is not included. The alabaster bowl has a deep vein, which is natural due to its mineral composition and may be confused for a crack, but there are no cracks. The alabaster is hand-carved so there might be some slight variations that make this chandelier one-of-a-kind. The top of the alabaster rim has etching that might be confused for cracks but are parts of the design. The inside of the bowl has minor burns that have been professionally repaired. The burns were caused by putting in light bulbs, more than 60 watts hot, directly rubbing against the alabaster. This blemish, in no way, distracts from the loveliness of the alabaster and is not seen outside the bowl. The chandelier also has light scratches throughout. Patina on the bronze is normal and due to the antiqueness as well. The frosted glass flame shades are all intact. We will be happy to provide additional images upon request.
