This substantial vintage Persian Tabriz rug showcases traditional hand-weaving with wool on a cotton foundation, originating from Iran's celebrated weaving centers. Spanning 9'9" x 12'3", it underwent specialized distressing and overdyeing at our Los Angeles facility, transforming its original palette into contemporary, vibrant hues while preserving subtle vintage character. The refinishing process—combining organic neutralization with selective overdyeing—creates a distinctive aesthetic that bridges heritage craftsmanship with modern sensibility. Natural variations and inconsistencies inherent to hand-processing enhance its authenticity, ensuring each piece remains genuinely one-of-a-kind.
