This heavy salt-glazed foot or bed warmer measures approximately 11" L × 6" W × 5" H and features the incised maker’s mark “DORCHESTER POTTERY WKS BOSTON MASS.” in front.

Off-white glaze with small dark flecks and unglazed base. Original hard-rubber plug intact. No cracks or repairs. Minor glaze irregularities along the base edge appear from manufacture.

A classic example of early American utilitarian pottery from New England — both decorative and functional.
