These monsters really pack a design punch! Vintage Sarreid lamps made of Sugar Cane Presses from the Philippines. I thought they were made of mooring posts until I contacted Sarreid about them. The reference number on the label confirms the design. These pre-date 2004, which was the last time Sarreid manufactured Sugar Cane Press lamps. Each lamp weighs in at 29.6 pounds. One switch has been replaced. In excellent vintage condition! There are slight differences in the carvings but are definitely a pair. Great to add a nautical touch without being too kitschy!
