A small framed painting of a famous Chilean artist, Jose Santos Guerra (1938-2016). Colorful acrylic on board depicting a woman and a man at the table. Naif motives. Signed on the front. The art is 14 cm by 19 cm. The frame is 7"X9.5". No damages to the painting. There are paint cracks on the lavender frame. Ready to hang. This is his early work.
About artist: José Santos Guerra (1938–2016, Chile), was a self-taught Chilean painter celebrated for his colorful, dreamlike imagery and distinctive naïve style. Beginning his artistic journey in his forties, Santos Guerra transformed everyday scenes into poetic worlds filled with cats, roosters, castles, and vibrant urban life. His murals in Santiago’s bars and his intimate panel paintings reflect a deep joy for color and imagination, making him one of Chile’s most beloved popular artists.
