Born in San Berneletto del Trionto, … Read more Exquisitely painted portrait of Lady in Teal Dress by world renown artist Armando Marchergiani. Born in San Berneletto del Trionto, Italy in 1902. Marchergiani moved to the United States in 1925 when he was commissioned to paint frescoes at St Joseph Roman Catholic Cathedral in San Jose, California. He also completed many works in other mission churches including Mission Delores in San Francisco.

The oil on canvas is signed and presented in typical Italian scarafitti frame however in this case only one corner fully decorated.
