Made by Carl Thieme for Dresden, cutest ever, the baby's cap is a work of art in itself, as is the clothing! There are feathers on the hat, and flowers on the jacket where three-dimensional display has great effect, baby boy comes alive! Bust stands on a stylized scroll base, with gilt / gold highlights. Figure is marked on the bottom with a "Dresden Germany" and large initials above (see photos). Bust is in good condition, finest quality, showing light age use wear (please see photos). Size is perfect for any table, office desk, library shelf, or a curio vitrine at 5.625" in height, 4.5" wide, and 3.25" deep. Great art or historical collection addition, and a fine display in any traditional or mid-century modern setting ! See less
