Mid Century Modern Barrel Club Lounge Chair Adrian Pearsall. (NO TAGS) Walnut base. Stunning. TAGS WAS REMOVED When RE UPHOLSTERED MANY YEARS AGO. I purchased this chair from an 86 year old woman who bought it in the 1960s. She believed she had it reupholstered but cannot remember.
Adrian Pearsall's club chair, and other furniture, gained popularity through his company.

Craft Associates in the mid-20th century, known for its innovative mid-century modern style that blended clean lines with organic shapes, often using walnut. Founded in 1952, Craft Associates grew significantly before Pearsall sold the company in 1969 to Lane Furniture. His chairs, including high-back lounge chairs and swivel chairs, were celebrated for their sculptural forms and functionality, making high-style furniture accessible to the middle class.
Founding and growth: Pearsall founded Craft Associates in 1952, initially working with wrought iron but later shifting to designs that used walnut wood, which became his signature.
