French, early 20th century (circa 1930) black iron wall sconce of foliate theme with scrolling branches like a trained “espalier” tree, blooming small roses or gardenia. This unique fixture contrasts the romantic symbolism of the flora against the sharp, Brutalist aesthetic of the metal to achieve a sculptural work of art that also happens to illuminate a wall using five (new) faux candles for candelabra-base light bulbs. Professionally cleaned and rewired to US electrical standards using UL-listed parts, ready to be installed in your interior or mounted to the wall using the in-line switch to operate.
