Lovely pair of French 19th century wall mirrors with delicate Neoclassical, scrolled motifs embossed in the recessed part of the frame, softened by an allover “French grey” paint that has aged to a deep craquelure texture over time. Mirror glass is likely a replacement, offering a clear reflection without the expected crystals and foxing of antique glass. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
