The company Pervilleau and its advertising agency Langelaan & Cerf in Paris commissioned Warhol to design the poster to be used in the advertising campaign for the Perrier mineral water.
The poster was completed in 1983 and was printed at Lalande-Courbet S.A., Wissous, France.
It was awarded with the Grand Prix de l'Affiche Française.
