A beautiful vintage Danish art pottery vase by P. Ipsens Enke, marked “Ipsen Denmark #784 XI.”
This large round-bodied form features a rich pumpkin-amber body with textured brown-green foliage glaze cascading from the rim — a signature look of mid-century Scandinavian ceramics.
Dimensions: 7” H × 7” W × 4” mouth and base diameter
Maker’s Mark: Impressed Ipsen Denmark #784 XI on base
Condition: Light wear consistent with age — a few small chips along the raised leaf glaze, and a faint surface scratch on the body and base (see photos). Still displays beautifully; the marks could be softened with a touch of scratch-cover polish if desired.
Attribution Note: Some collectors attribute this design to Georg Jensen for Ipsen, though that has not been verified.
