Praeger Publishers, written by Jules Leroy and translated by Claire Pace. There are two chapters followed by plates and explanations. The first chapter explains the generality of Ethiopian art and architecture for the period. The second chapter explains specific paintings, the history of Gondar and outside influences on Ethiopian art and how those influences were modified to reflect Ethiopian traditions. This book is considered “scarce” since it is out of print and hard to find. See less
